Not really, you can link to videos here and anyone can view without joining (but not embed on BFF - though some other places you can) the quality is much better than youtube.
You can also create a themed album of your uploaded pictures and use a link to display them as a slideshow.
So Ning has a few nice tricks which can be used on the BFF forums.
